About Jeff David About Classes Alphabet Soup of Medicare Insurance Are you or a loved one turning 65 or becoming eligible for Medicare due to disability? This is a fun, relaxed class and a pain-free way to learn. What are Medicare Part A and Part B? How do Medicare supplement plans fill coverage gaps? What is a Plan C, Plan F and let’s not forget the new Part D prescription drug plan. Learn about Medicare PPOs and HMOs. This two-hour class will help you master the ABC’s of Medicare insurance. Health Insurance Survival Guide for Self-Employed and Small Business Owner What coverage options are available to the business owner? Answers will be provided to questions on eligibility for group health insurance and group coverage versus individual plans. Options for employees, tax rules on deductions, health savings accounts, cafeteria plans will be covered. The class will give you the keys to unlocking the language of insurance: HMO, PPO, HSA, POS, etc. This two-hour class will cut through the clutter and help you make long term decisions that will maximize your insurance dollars. First Time Buyer’s Guide for Health Insurance Has a change of jobs, graduation or no benefits at work left you uninsured? What is COBRA, State Continuation, or HIPPA? What happens when COBRA runs out? What options are available for children and spouses? Understand the language of insurance: PPO, HMO, HSA, and MC+. This is a fun, easy to follow, two-hour class that will help you get the most out of your premium dollar and prevent mistakes that can cost you plenty. |
